KABUKI IN THE COMMUNITY
We enjoy prosperity in this community. We believe it is our social responsibility to give back. Kabuki as a business, and Team Kabuki as individuals are active in community involvement.
We support a number of organizations in a number of ways. They include the Sexual Assault Centre of Hamilton, the YWCA, and going out into the community conducting skin-savvy seminars and educating people on how to read and understand cosmetic labels to get what they want and avoid being duped.
We support organizations and events through financial or product donations, prizes, complementary visits to the Spa, and by volunteering. We also do regular fund-raising in the Spa for the Sexual Assault Centre.
Alexis has made presentations to Mohawk College business students, and to cosmetic industry groups. Along the way, she won Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2012, the 40 Under 40 Business Achievement Award for Greater Hamilton and Halton in 2013, Luminescence Young Fem-Leader of 2013 and the Woman of Distinction Award of Health and Wellness in 2014. She credits much of her success to “The Team.”
